At Southwest Pianos, we restore pianos with care, patience and a genuine love for the instrument. Many of the pianos we work on have been part of a home for years — sometimes generations — and we understand how important a piano can be to the people who own them.
If your piano is looking tired, sounding dull, or has been unused for a long time, a proper piano restoration can bring it back to life and make it a pleasure to play again.
Full Piano Restorations
We offer complete piano restorations, carried out carefully and at a sensible pace. Every piano is looked at individually, and the work is tailored to what the instrument truly needs. This may include:
- Repairs to the soundboard and structure of the piano
- A full action overhaul to improve touch and response
- Full action rebuild and modernisation
- New piano strings and tuning pins
- Complete respray and refinishing of the piano
- Cabinet repairs and traditional piano polishing
- Repolishing and replating all brass work
Our aim is not to make a piano look brand new, but to restore its character, tone and reliability so it can be enjoyed for many years to come. Of cause, if you want a completely brand new rebuilt piano, we can also do that too!
