The Smart Hybrid Hammer Action keyboard blends an advanced physical key mechanism with digital control technology to deliver highly expressive playability. The white keys are made from a high-quality spruce wood and resin composite, providing a natural feel and a premium finish that enhances the connection between player and instrument.
Casio’s Multi-Dimensional Morphing AiR Sound Source delivers stunningly authentic acoustic grand piano tones. The sound subtly evolves over time and responds to every nuance of the player’s touch, from the softest pianissimo to powerful, dynamic passages. The complex overtones of each of the 88 keys, along with the resonances of the piano body, are faithfully reproduced to create a rich, vivid piano sound.
Despite housing a full-size weighted keyboard, the PX-S5000 features one of the world’s slimmest digital piano designs, with a front-to-back depth of just 232mm. This compact form factor allows greater flexibility in placement, whether against a wall or in more open living spaces.
Layer and Split functions allow you to combine two tones together or divide the keyboard into upper and lower sections with individual sounds for each, opening up a wide range of creative possibilities. The PX-S5000 also integrates seamlessly with the CASIO MUSIC SPACE app, designed exclusively for Casio electronic musical instruments, offering new ways to learn, practise, and enjoy making music.
The included WU-BT10 Wireless MIDI and Audio adaptor enables Bluetooth connectivity, allowing you to stream music from your smartphone or tablet directly through the PX-S5000’s speaker system, as well as connect wirelessly to compatible music apps.
Design
The PX-S5000 features a simple, minimalist design that complements any interior style. Its ultra-slim body houses a full-size weighted keyboard while maintaining a front-to-back depth of just 232mm, providing exceptional flexibility in placement. The keys are crafted from a new composite material with real spruce wood veneer visible from the side when played, adding a subtle yet premium visual detail.
A gold Casio logo enhances the piano’s refined appearance, while the flat, high-gloss top panel features touch-sensitive controls that keep the design clean and uncluttered.
